Well, hello sweets! I'm so glad you found me, because I'm about to help you take some bomb ass photos and live an experience that is purely thrilling. I'm Mindy and have been a photographer since 2009. Did I really just age myself?! Yes, its been a few years, but I've honestly enjoyed every minute of it! I started my career in family photography, which quickly morphed into weddings and couples. I had my first experience with boudoir from a friend that was getting married and wanted some spicy photos for her fiancé as a wedding gift. I was completely blown away at how soul rocking a boudoir session was for her, and myself! The confidence she exuded only increased as the minutes ticked by. It was truly an indescribable experience. From there, I knew that I wanted to be able to share this euphoric feeling for other women, which was fantastic for about 2 years... then covid. Fricken covid. When the world stopped, I stopped as well. Life slowly became normal, but busy. So very busy. Life truly got in the way of my passion. But, I'm here for it! All of it!
My previous boudoir studio had a bright and airy vibe. I wanted timeless boudoir photos for my clients. I wanted to be able to provide my clients with photos similar to other boudoir photographers because that's what I thought they wanted. But, I've learned that just isn't my thing. Don't get me wrong, I love all of my photographs from years past, but I felt like something was missing. I had someone say that my style reminded them of "old lady boudoir". WOAH. Gut check. Made me really dig deep and think if i was just offended or if that was how I felt and didn't realize it. Let me tell you, that was one of the best worst things someone could say. So, meet Mindy. Black Door Boudoir Mindy. The Mindy that wants to take photographs with an edgy vibe. Photos that get you excited to talk about. Photos that are maybe too spicy for those "old ladies". Photos that are NSFW. Photos that are definitely not your boring boudoir. Ready to do this??? Because I am!!
